In 2026, America will celebrate its 250th anniversary! As a way to honor this occasion, the Historical Society of Mount Airy now has a special exhibit detailing the Town’s role in the U.S. Civil War. Come to the museum to see a variety of exciting artifacts, displays, and information on Mount Airy's role in the American Civil War.
Come out to the Mount Airy Museum Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. at 1 N. Main St. to see all the hard work the volunteers have been putting in.
This exhibit will be open for all of 2026 so don’t miss out on a chance to see this extraordinary display,
