Join us for a walking tour through Mt. Airy's haunted past and hear ghostly tales from beyond the grave!  The Ghost Tours start with check-in at the Mt. Airy Museum located inside the historic train station at 1 North Main Street, Mt. Airy, MD 21771.  Explore Mt. Airy's history and sometimes violent past filled with murders, riots, mysterious fires, and friendly ghosts.  The Tour, composed of 10 Stops, winds through the rail yard, up the hill to the elementary school, then back down to the old fire house on South Main St. The one-mile walk is moderately strenuous, not wheelchair accessible, up and down hills, over curbs, and around obstacles in the sidewalk.  A flashlight is recommended but not mandatory.  All are welcome but the Tour is not geared to young children.  Total Tour time is about 1 hr. 45 minutes.  Choose your start time of either 5 or 7 pm on Friday night, October 2, or Saturday night October 10, 17, 24, or 31.  Tours are limited to 26 .  $20 per ticket plus Eventbrite service fee.  In the event of rain, the rain date is Sunday.  All proceeds benefit the Mt.
